Marcy Playground, the American alternative rock trio led by singer and guitarist John Wozniak, with bassist Dylan Keefe and drummer Shlomi Lavie, has been captivating audiences since the late 1990s. Their 1997 self-titled debut album, featuring the chart-topping hit "Sex and Candy," achieved platinum status, with the single dominating the Billboard Modern Rock chart for a then-record 15 consecutive weeks. In 2022, to commemorate the album's 25th anniversary, it was released on vinyl for the first time.
Over the years, Marcy Playground has expanded their discography with albums such as Shapeshifter (1999), Marcy Playground 3 (MP3) (2004), Leaving Wonderland... In A Fit of Rage (2009), and Lunch, Recess, & Detention (2012). These works showcase the band's creative evolution and have garnered a dedicated fanbase.
